Supporting Keynsham Foodbank
Given the widespread disruption and difficulties COVID-19 has caused for so many people across the country, including within the Bath and North East Somerset area this year, Way Ahead Care have decided to join the Keynsham Food Bank scheme.
We are always keen to work in partnership with others and form positive connections in our community. The Keynsham Food Bank, which opened in 2013, serves all of BANES and acts as a true lifeline for those living at or below the poverty line and who are unable to afford essential food supplies. They are a truly local service and strive to help those in crisis for whatever reason.
By registering with this invaluable service, Way Ahead Care are able to offer additional support to clients who may be unable to afford food themselves by issuing them with an ‘E-voucher’ which entitles them to receive an emergency food supply at no cost. We are very proud to have registered with the Food Bank because it supports our ethos of providing high quality care and support to our clients.
